The 15th 2018 World Martial Arts Cultural Competition
Competition Rules of Calligraphy Competition
I. Competition Grouping:
A Group：Each Chin Woo Association can participate, regardless of number of people, age and gender.
B Group：Only non-Chinese athletes can participate, regardless of gender and age.
II. Method of Competition:
1. The Theme of Calligraphy：Any theme of calligraphy is allowed, each competitor shall write one piece of propositional content and one piece of optional content. The propositional content is “爱国 修身 正义 助人” or “七千年河姆渡、一百年精武魂”, and the optional content shall be 8-20 words.
2. Competition Time：Every competitor shall finish in an hour.
3. The score of one competitor shall be the total score of two pieces of calligraphy.
4. The organizer shall number the entries, on which there will be no competitor’s names.
5. The competitor shall not obtain others’ suggestion, guidance and inspirations, otherwise he will be disqualified from the competition.
6. The organizer shall organize the evaluation committee of judges from invitation.
VI. Writing Instruments:
The competitor shall bring their own writing instruments, use traditional writing brush and ink, and the competition paper (Xuan Paper) shall be provided by the organizer.
III. Ranking Award:
1. We will enroll top eight according to Group A and Group B, if the total number is less than eight, each category shall enroll the total-number-minus-one people.
2. Top three shall be awarded with gold medal, silver medal, bronze medal and certificates, others shall be awarded with certificates.
IV. Work Conservation:
All entries shall be conserved by the organizer after public exhibition.
V. The unaccomplished matters shall be followed by further notice.
